ARSAN Compression Seals
Properties
ARSAN Compression Seals are designed to fill the joints and dilatation gaps with their perfect ability to absorb expansion movements of up to 65mm. These dilatation profiles can absorb longitudinal, transversal and vertical movements. The high quality rubber and its special design guarantee a long life-time.
ARSAN Compression Seals can easily be installed on non-linear gaps thanks to elastic capability of high quality rubber. These profiles can be used in parking areas, bridges, under speed bumpers and industrial floor applications.

Preparations Before Installation
There should be no cracks or broken parts on the edges or corners of the joints. In addition, all surfaces must be free of dirt, oil, water, stones and other undesirable substances. Elastomeric profile also need to be cleaned very well for better adhesion performance.
Installation Guide
· First, the joint gap wall should be smooth and clean.
· The profile corresponding to the joint is first rolled out and stored on a stand (trestles, squared timber, pallets). On the other hand, this makes installation easier, since the twist can escape from the product originally delivered as a roll.
· The recommended adhesive by Arsan is applied to the joint gap wall and the rubber profile surface, after a clean and dry surface has been ensured.
· The ARSAN Compression Seal is installed by pressing the profile into the joint. The pasty feature of the adhesive creates a sliding effect that facilitates the installation of the profile. The profile must be compressed manually or by using a recommended mechanical tool by Arsan.
