There are two different characteristics that sepereates HDRB Bearings from the others. One of them is they give low values when high natural period is demanded, and the other one ; during the earthquake they can relocate when compared to normal bearings.
HDRB bearings with it’s rubber contents and ingredients; has the ability to damp, much higher vertical weight on greater surface. These are quite flexible and have the ability for higher damping.
As a result of the special compound used in HDRB bearings, values like damping are much higher than the other bearings .
